I haven't seen it yet, actually. It's a pretty limited release around here and my time is limited as well. What did you think of it?

Starting with the bad, and ending with the good: The science was as bad as the science in any movie that I've seen (think Armageddon and The Core) and although most people don't care, that often offends me. It also (without excessive spoilerization) makes an inexplicable shift from 2001 homage (good) to Event Horizon homage (crap) in the third reel, which was unnecessary... but nevertheless, neither really ruins the film. The flaws, imo, only prevented what is generally a gorgeous piece of cinematography from becoming a really classic film. It's still very good: I give it solid *** on a four-point scale.
